A title. Can't think of anything clever right now.
Whatup bitches. So. I haven't posted in awhile. It's because I've been busier than a stripper in vegas. Speaking of Vegas-I'LL BE THERE THIS WEEK! Woot! But not as a stripper. Its for Beachbody's Annual Summit-basically a ginormous gathering of Coaches, and everyday we learn through breakout sessions (usually hungover), and have parties everynight (causing the hangover'ness). But then at the end, they give away a shitload of money to people that have had amazing transformations and worked their asses off and SO deserve it. It's pretty frekkin awesome. And they end the whole thing with ANOTHER party. I wonder which coach will end up with a tiger in their bathroom? But I digress....so we have been in the middle of an epic move. Why is it epic? Because we've been moving and renovating at the same time. WTF. Who does that? Clearly-us. Last night was my first night finally giving in and sleeping in our "new" place, and I drank last night to celebrate..and well yeah that ended well. I fell asleep in the office chair. Awesome. But I have my Shakeology, and I'M GOOD. I swear that stuff has hangover cure in it, somewhere on that ingredient list. Whatever. It works and I won't question it. Are you on Shakeology? Tell me your experience with it in the comments. If you aren't...why the hell not?! Besides curing hangovers in the speed of light, it keeps weightgain at bay, boosts energy and metabolism, and makes your body all sorts of happy. It's vegan too. Well one flavor is. And it happens to be my fave-STRAWBERRY. Word. Get you some HERE! Or click on the friggin huge banner on this blog to get it. Remember to save 15 bucks a month on shipping charges by going on Home Direct (HD). You can cancel at anytime. Seriously you can. And customer service doesn't bitch about it, so if you go on it, be smart and go on HD.
So I've been doing Les Mills Pump. I think it may be my fave...shit is hard but doable. And the trainers make funny faces and yell at you in euro accents, while listening to euro techno and country music (??)..hey it's all good. I sweat buckets and it's mostly weight training, which I'm a big fan of.
Ok that's it for now. I'll post later after I'm done packing for Vegas and unpacking the house. UGH we have moved 7 times in 6 years. WHY. Anyway-at least we are on the water now-and we have a boat so that makes sense.

SORENESS. Friend or Foe?
I really do love waking up and feeling sore. I do. Call me a masochist. Whatever. The soreness we experience after workouts are really the body’s natural response to pushing yourself to a higher level of physical activity than it’s normally used to, and a part of our body’s normal process of adaptation. This is an amazing progression in which our body breaks down, then starts the recovery process, heals and rebuilds. As a result, we get stronger (the process of building muscle). We will notice that the soreness usually hits you the second day after your physical activity (DOMS-"Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) and after a day or so of uncomfortable soreness, you get progressively better and soon return to feeling your normal self. So this is something that I love to feel-BUT! If the soreness is messing with your sleep patters, you are angry all the time, you lack appetite-THAN it can lead to overtraining. That's a whole 'nother beast so I suggest you let Google help you with that.
The following pic is something I won't do. Not that I CAN'T DO IT, because I CAN, (not really), but I still think it's a cool pic. Plus I would be worried about getting ran over. And that would definitely make me sore.
OK-so today is my oldest daughter's graduation day from 4th grade! Bring on the Summer sand and water. Will post more pics laters.

Probably the best thing ever that made it's way in my mouth. That's what she said.
So. I made THIS as my bedtime snack-a-doo. (It's not a picture of what I actually made, obviously-but it looked just like this).
Chocolate Shakeology Pudding
*1-½ scoops Chocolate Shakeology (or Vegan Tropical Strawberry-
1 ripe avocado-
1 large banana-
1 cup almond milk-
1 tsp. lemon juice-
PREPARATION: Mix all ingredients in blender until smooth. If pudding is too thick, add a bit more almond milk. Pour into 4 small individual dishes and refrigerate for an hour.
OPTIONAL: Garnish with chopped pecans, chia seeds, or walnuts.
HOLY BALLS. This was SO good I can't even tell you. My kids were chomping at the bit to have some of this yummy HEALTHY goodness. Makes for a great dessert!
P.S. I know the Avocado sounds crazy, but you can't taste it, and it's what makes it into a great pudding texture. Plus, this recipe is chock full of healthy fats and low in calories. And did I mention it tastes AMAZING?! It does.
Until next time..

So. What have I been doing Post Reset? Read on.
Alot of you will be surprised that I am still eating the Reset meals that are outlined in the guidebook for the Ultimate Reset. Many of you have been asking me what am I doing to maintain, how are my workouts now, etc. So I want to answer all of that right here, right now. Throughout my 21 days-I have discovered that personally, I want to remain a Vegan. I want 50% of that to be Raw Vegan as well. I just know, FOR ME, it helps me feel better and have more energy. PLUS-I recover from my workouts faster, therefore I can push harder in my workouts. I am on the maintenance program for the Reset-which includes Alkanize (the nasty green sweat sock powder-but is SUPER good for you) and Optimize (digestive enzymes). I also wanted to include Oxygenize (liquid oxygen-oxygenates the blood-making you feel oh so good, and your workouts are super fly when you are drinking oxygenated water), plus once a day I will take Detox. To keep things moving. You know what I mean by that. And since doing this every day, almost a month post Reset-I STILL have my post reset results, and I still have that clarity of mind, the peacefullness, the energy, all of the benefits that came with the Reset. Figured out I can keep that feeling forever! Which I LOVE.
I do allow myself to have a little more snacks than usual-but I am experimenting with vegan/raw snacks and side dishes to "get my feet wet"..so to speak. I have alot to learn, like always, and I want to know what my body likes, and what it shuns. Sort of a self experiment. I like science.
OH-and as far as my workouts..I basically feel like the Gladiator. For reals. I am doing Asylum with a dash of Les Mills Pump thrown in for good measure. My performances on the hardest workouts I've ever done are SO MUCH BETTER. And with that I feel like a spartan. A gladiator. Or Rocky.
Anywho-that's all I have for now. Summer is upon us, which means LOTS of boating. Who knows-maybe I will drink and eat my face off the next time we are out on the boat. All I know is-is that with Beachbody-I have the tools to get back on track. I can help you do the same thing. KNOW THIS.

So what is the point of all this ANYWAY?
Why am I involved with health and fitness?
Why am I trying to get YOU healthy?
Why do I write this blog talking about all this?
Why SHOULD YOU CARE?
To start off-I will share WHY I started doing all this. In case you didn't know already. I USED TO BE FAT. Like not just, "OH-I just had a baby, NBD..." YEAH-6 MONTHS AGO. Anyway-I'm 5"4, and at my heaviest I was inching towards 170 lbs. That's not very cute. I mean, I used to do fitness modeling, I was so comfortable in my own skin, and now, NOW..I was this chubby girl that couldn't fit into any of her clothes. I had NO waistline, I was wearing mom jeans, tights (OMG TIGHTS ERRRYDAY), and my husband's tshirts. I was so close to becoming that schoolyard everyday mom. (NOT bashing anyone here, it just isn't me). I KNEW I was created and destined to do so much more. I KNEW that I needed help. I was straight up-ADDICTED TO FOOD. It was my comfort and my solice. I didn't have anything but my family, and my food. Plus the fact that I'm puertorican, and my parents live very close to me-so they were more than willing to stuff my pie hole with all the greasy goodness (which in moderation, I still enjoy). Like EVERYONE says, late at night while inhaling icecream straight out of a gallon bucket, alternating with swigs of wine-the P90X infomercial came on. Being a former Marine-that's when everything hit me like a sledgehammer. I was the most happiest with my body when I was in the Marines (when I was crazy active). P90X seemed alot like what we used to do in the Marines-so I KNEW that's what I needed. My personality type is one of that is you remove pain and agony-LIKE A BANDAID. Go hard or go home. That's just me. So I ordered right then and there. When it came-I didn't have any equipment. I did have a strength band though. So I looped my band around my stairwell, and modified pullups. We used to go to Sams Club alot-so I had these huge Aunt Jemima gallon containers of syrup. They each weighed 5 lbs. And I had 2 of them! (NO EXCUSES!!) So I used Aunt Jemima syrup bottles for alot of my weighted excercises in my first month and followed the nutrition plan exactly as written. No cheats, nothing. First month-I lost 10 lbs. I was CRAZY HAPPY. So that definitely motivated me into the rest of my transformation journey, and slowly-I started to purchase weights, until I had a miscolored, rusted out weightset that went up to 20lbs! Then I FINALLY got the pullup bar. As my first 90 days came to a close-I lost almost 30 lbs. And then the craziest thing happened-I WON $10,000 FOR DOING THIS!! *THANKS BEACHBODY*...I knew I could do more, so I went further and did more Beachbody Programs, and now I can say I am the fittest I have ever been. During my initial 90 days, that's when I decided to become a Beachbody Coach. I was helping people anyway by sharing my story. Why not get compensated for it? I mean-time IS money. Making that decision is what changed my life. I eventually was able to be a stay at home mom. I discovered I had a serious passion for helping people-because I was in their shoes! There IS a way out-through healthy nutrition, Shakeology, and sticking to fit programs 6 days a week-like P90X, TurboFire, P90X2, Insanity, RevAbs, and Les Mills Pump-I have the ultimate workout library that I know will always be there for me. And being a stay at home mom-this WORKS. I don't have to fuss with going to the gym, carting off the kids with me, etc. I can just do my workout as soon as I wake up, and I'm done. More time with my family and friends and a sleek healthy physique are my reward. And that can be your reward too! Whether it's by being client of mine, or being my business partner and becoming a Fitness Coach-I can help you-physically and financially. Bottom line. The choice is yours!
P.S. 3 weeks post Ultimate Reset. Results still hold true and I feel amazing! I recommend this to everyone! Please comment with any questions! I would love to help you.

OK-I know it's been awhile..but here we go!
I HAVE IN FACT-FINISHED THE ULTIMATE RESET. I shall wait for your applause.
Why thank you Mr. President.
Anyway-so the week after I finished the Reset-I totally got my period. #EpicperiodtimingFail. Because I gain like a bazillion lb's during this bloody horror show, I wanted to wait until after that freakweek before I showed you my official after pic. And get this, I didn't even cheat during my period. I usually eat salty/sweet combo's until I pass out in my own sweat and oil with crumbs on the bed. But now-I DON'T EVEN WANT "BAD" FOOD. I know. Who am I? I haven't cheated once (Well, on Cinco De Mayo-a tad bit-but that was a while ago). I'm still eating the Reset meals, because I love them so much. I'm now adding in more protein via vegan protein shakes (LOVE the Vega Sports line!). So, here it goes. My starting weight was 125. I ended up back at my highschool weight of 110 lbs. 15 lbs gone, and 10 inches lost overall. IN 21 DAYS.
The best part is how I feel. I feel like I am 10 years old again; full of energy, and I sleep like a baby every night. I'm always alert, I feel focused, and the CLARITY of MIND is out of this world. That is by far, my favorite part of this whole experience. I now know how to really taste my food, and to eat with purpose. To know if it's really "hunger" or boredom-that was a big thing for me. I was a big snacker..not anymore! No snacking at all anymore, no before bedtime snacks, and I don't even want it! I don't feel deprived of a thing..just because I feel THAT good.
Now you know what to do. Click on that banner above and get your Reset. I will coach you day in and day out throughout your whole journey. It's worth the investment, if you are going to invest in anything-invest in YOU first. You will be SO THANKFUL that you did.
I FEEL ALIVE!!!!

Forgot to post Day 19! But here we are Day 20!
OK-so totally forgot to post yesterday. It was one of those days I didn't even have time to wipe my butt. It went by SO FAST. I swear I spend so much time in the kitchen, not just for me, but for my family too. This Reset messes with you. I am not a cook. But now I swear I'm like a healthy version of Emeral whateverhisnameis. So I start cooking healthy shiz for my husband and my kids. Like from scratch. Since I'm vegan now, I don't eat eggs. So, I thought to myself, F this: my kids are going to eat super healthy too! STARTING NOW. So thinking on to breakfast, last night I prepare their breakfast and cook it. It was organic buckwheat pancakes. It called for eggs. So I google the crap out of "egg substitues for pancakes" and I find it. The answer. 1 egg=1/4 cup applesauce and half of a banana smashed. Well I had that, but no the actual apple sauce. So I TOTALLY MADE MY OWN APPLESAUCE. I don't know who I am anymore. I was hellbent on getting them to eat these effing pancakes the next day. I added some stevia for good measure. They don't what that is except it makes it sweeter without adding nasty shit to it. Holy balls. BOTH KIDS ATE IT UP THIS MORNING like it was their job. I even put some mashed apple sauce on top for a "topping" like all IHOP syle. But healthy. OK enough on that.
Day 20 is here. I feel fantastic. I can't believe it's almost over. I woke up a pound lighter. Making that 15 lbs lost in 20 days. NUTS. This was such a learning experience, and I can't wait to do a VIDEO recap of my whole journey, and my feelings week to week. That's right. It's all going down and I'm going to explain all the good parts, and all the not so good parts. Just know it was ALL WORTH IT! I feel brand new. And I like that.
Gotta make lunch!

Day 18 Ultimate Reset Recap!
Today was a BLUR! I remember eating breakfast and lunch, then going to a last minute test shoot with a great photographer, Gamil Awad of Muse Production Studios. It was a lengthy shoot-but it was worth it! Captured some great images. Then I had to rush home, make dinner, drink my water, eat, and then get the kids ready for bed, while recapping work with my business at Beachbody for the evening. So this will be a short post-but I'll leave you with a couple pics from todays shoot. :)
There are TONS more but I will leave you with these! :)
On to Day 19 tomorrow!

DAY 17 HOLLERR!
How are you doing today! I am doing GREAT. Feel good, slept great, and I woke up refreshed and ready to go. So I have a confession to make. Last night was Cinco De Mayo. I had to go to the party I was talking about. I had 2 drinks. (SHAME!) But I did drink ALOT of water, and my food was on point, didn't cheat at all with bad food. But you know what? I am back on track today and for many days to come. I realized it wasn't that great (the drinks) and I guzzled distilled water faster than anything afterwards. Got it out of my system, and drank some alkanize before I went to bed. And I woke up 2 pounds lighter! Woohoo! 14 lbs lost in 17 days ya'll. Here is my accountability pic:
My midsection is getting more and more cut, and I love it. Goes to show you that nutrition is VITAL when you want to feel better and look better. Click on the Ultimate Reset Banner above if you want to get rid of bloating, fatique, insomnia, lower your cholesterol and if you want to just flat out feel BETTER. You know you want to. Because then you can feel like this every day:
I'll even supply your ribbons.

Well How YOU doin..Day 16?
I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning at promptly 7 am. That seems to be my "comfy" sleep in time. Having my Reset meal as I type, and I honestly can't believe this journey is almost over. I mean, I will still keep the majority of it incorporated into my life, but the fact that I am honestly ABLE to do this..blows my mind. I'm proud of myself for sticking through. And I think YOU should be proud of yourself for whatever you are going through, even if it's hard in the beginning. The beginning of this Reset SUCKED. I was miserable. But it was very shortlived, and I just pushed through..begrudgingly. At one point I looked at Jason and told him, "I don't think I can do this." And he told me that I came this far, why not see how much furthur I can go. And I did. And here I am in the home stretch of this thing. If you are doing a fitness program, eating differently, having a change in your family that is tough, whatEVER it is, I encourage you to stick it through. Because the OTHER side is amazing. It's SO beyond worth it, and just plain beautiful. So be courageous, be brave, and be consistant. These are key fundementals in sticking with anything in life, especially anything that involves change.
Down another pound-I seem to be losing a pound a day. Still full of energy, and NOT hungry. I'm accepting this and embracing it, but I can't wait to jump into another round of Asylum that's for sure on Day 22! :)
BTW-I have to help with a Cinco De Mayo Party tonight. 4000 people. That will probably be all drunk and crazy. I will be taking my dinner in my tupperware, and bringing my own water. No alchohol for this gal! I don't even want it. YAY.
Till next time-DB

Goodnight Day 15...
Today was good! I worked, I rested up, I ate all my meals precisely, and now my 4 year old is falling asleep on me. Life is good. Jason went out fishing today and now he is out at Whole Foods getting some stuff I was running out of, food wise. Thank heavens. A bit tired today, no little PM snooze, but I know I'll sleep good tonight. Tomorrow is going to be TOUGH. I have to attend a HUGE Cinco De Mayo party with 4000 people, and being a Charleston Socialite-I gotta be there and represent. VIP: OH YEAH!
Free drinks all around-lots of tequiila-(my FAVE) and me no can't drink. Well, poop. I'm ok though. I'm going to pack my Ultimate Reset dinner and bring it with me; yep-and eat it in the car, or straight up in VIP. Honey Badger don't care. Honey Badger will roll into that party with my purse and tupperware.
Time for night night-DB

ultimate reset day 15
Well HI Day 15. :)
OK it's official: last night was the BEST SLEEP I HAVE EVER HAD. No joke. Just wanted to put that out there. I know I said I'm only doing 2 weeks of this Reset, but I have decided to extend it and do it the way it was written. When Carl Daikeler and his wife (CEO of Beachbody and wife) talked on a webinar, they said once you are done with the Reset-you should just basically go backwards in it. So that's what I'm doing. Only after these next 3 weeks can I introduce certain things I used to eat and drink like fish, snacks, and alcohol on occassion. By going backwards-you will slowly introduce things BACK INTO your diet, so you are gentle on your body. By doing this-you can actually PIN POINT which foods react well with your body, and which foods don't react well (and they can cause gassiness, bloating, stomach pain, lethargy, etc). They said when you re-introduce something new, to wait 3 days to see what happens. And then move on to introducing something else. This is the only way you can really do this..is by going through the Reset and doing what I just mentioned. No doctor or bloodtest will ever tell you what you are allergic to properly and accurately..(even if I am minutely allergic to it-I'd want to know!). This is the only way I can do this for myself! For so long, so many of us go through life eating this or that, and not even knowing that it is doing something to us on a personal level, that our bodies are not in favor of. This is all about self-discovery and self awareness. I want to know what works with me and what doesn't. You should too! Click on above banner or click HERE to get your Ultimate Reset. If I were you I would get the Ultimate Reset Challenge Pack-which includes Shakeology on Home Direct and a free month in the VIP Club Membership with Beachbody. The Vegan Strawberry Shakeology that comes with the Reset (BTW-tastes like a strawberry yoohoo, YUM) just compliments it so well, and makes for a daily delicious snack. Plus when bought this way, it's highly discounted. WIN WIN. :)
Breakfast was delicious as always-can't wait to see what lunch has in store!
-DB
P.S. I'm down almost 2 more pounds! 12 lbs in 15 days ya'll.

Day 11 Ultimate Reset
Real quick blog post before I do some YOGA! :) Again-woke up feeling great! 7 lbs lost to date, and it just gets better, muscle tone is still there, like I knew it would be. I wanted to give you guys and gals an accountability pic as to what this Reset can do for you too. Remember-no working out on this thing. This is an internal body workout. At least once a year, every athlete or anyone who works out alot, NEEDS to take some time off for your body to rest and repair, and to prevent future injuries. Also when you workout-your body produces alot of ACID. Which isn't detrimental to your health, but your body just needs a BREAK from time to time. This Reset gives you that much needed break without losing muscle, you lean out alot, and you clear your body of all the acid, and all the toxins that have built up over time. Plus, I've been going out of the house without makeup on (a first!), because my skin is just so healthy right now. EVERYONE needs to do this. I was reluctant at first, but now I am SO thankful that I decided to do this. So. Here's my picture.
For once (after having 2 kids) I am NOT sucking it in, and I am NOT flexing for this picture. This is just naturally what is happening. And I'm happy with that! Can't wait to jump into my next workout program (Les Mills Pump) and really take my physicality to the next level. And I can't wait to see the end results of this Reset!
Until Next Time-DB

Day 10-Ultimate Reset
Holy Balls to the wall-I'm in the double digits now! The meals were GREAT today. I know I keep saying it, but everyday I feel EVEN BETTER mentally and physically. It IS making me a little OCD-I have more energy and so I'm cleaning like crazy, throwing away stuff that should have been thrown out eons ago, and I can't stop "tidying up"..so to speak. I'm starting to cook for my family-the meals from the Reset-and yeah I have to buy more food now-but I feel so good when Jason eats the food and absolutely loves it. And I HAVE found a new pleasure...a way to my heart, so to speak. KITCHEN GADGETS. Like seriously. OMG. Today I went to Walmart (I know, gross), and I happened to pass about the kitchen section. My eyes sparkeled. Why of COURSE I need a lemon AND lime juicer. And a masher for my chick peas and nori germasio (Reset meal). And a GRATER that MEASURES while you grate?! I PUT ALL OF IT IN MY CART. As I show Jason all my little "treasures"..he is rolling his eyes so much and walking away half way through my description of it all. Whatever! I have my kitchen toys that make cooking even MORE FUN! :)
On another note: Since we are allowed to do yoga on this Reset-I did do yoga today. Not just regular yoga. AERIALIST YOGA. That's right. I'm so badass. Not really. They have these things (look like curtains) that hang down and you are a couple feet in the air. And then you do yoga on them. Sounds easy right? Uhm...NO. It was challenging, like imagine doing down dog IN THE AIR. And everything else. It was tough, but enjoyable! It gave me a heck of a stretch and I felt AMAZING afterwards. I love yoga's "after" affects..the feeling of calm and serenity. This class definitely gave me that, and I'm coming back every Sunday! Next Sunday we're bringing in the hoops and trapeze for some good ol' fun. Oh wait. I have a couple pictures of what I did today.
That's really not me (I know, SHOCKING), but I swear, I did both of those and more. The silks give you the ability to really get a good stretch and do things you thought you couldn't do. I was a little nervous, but once I let go-I discovered I can actually be pretty descent. It's all in the breath!

ULTIMATE RESET DAY 9!!!!!
Almost in the double digits now baby! P.S. I just really like that quote above, because it's damn TRUE! Anyway-I slept even BETTER last night. It's literally blowing my mind. I woke up just feeling crazy awesome, had my breakfast, and now I am prepping to go BOATING for the day. I'm confident I can do this! Ha. Last night I cooked my A$$ off, cooking dinner for me and the fam, and then cooking and prepping all the food for today-tupperware central! But it's worth it now, all we have to do is get ready, and GO! You won't be hearing from me for the rest of the day, MAYBE later when we get back, we'll see. Anyone going through a rough patch in this cleanse-TRUST ME I WAS THERE, it get's better and you will feel the best you have ever felt in your life!

I need a favor! And...Ultimate Reset Day 8!
So first thing is first. I know I ask you alot of favors. And yes I'm going to ask you for another one. Gather your friends and family and please, for the love, do this simple simple task. All you have to do is; first, go to https://www.facebook.com/CarlDaikelerCEO. LIKE the page first, then find my video (it has my name in it, Demi Bean) if you can't find it look under "posts by others" and you will see it, and then CLICK LIKE ON MY VIDEO. That's it! I've gotta win this-I will send you cupcakes if you can make it happen. Not really. But in my mind I will. Promise. You can watch the video too. I think it's full of hilarity. But you have to go to that page first to watch it. ;)
Ok on to the Reset. IT'S DAY 8 YA'LL!! I feel friggin fantastic! I slept amazing, ate an incredible breakfast, and shit, it's almost time to get lunch made, holler! I think I can actually DO THIS. I will admit, in the beginning, I didn't think I could. But I encourage anyone "in that spot"..to hold on..like Wilson Phillips says, and wait it out. It will pass.
Just..hooold onn. For one more day. Or 3.
Ok-gotta go prepare lunch, I have no idea what I'm making. I'll fill you in later!

Today was awesome! Ultimate Reset Day 7
I have not had any temper tantrums. Or the urge to kill anybody. AND I feel AMAZING. Clear. Focused. Alert. My food satisfies me (that is in the Ultimate Reset) and I just feel GOOD. I move into the "Restore" phase tomorrow, which will wean me off of grains, but the grains are always optional if I should want some. I like that flexibility. And I'm SUPER excited for the recipes that I've browsed through in this week! Stuff I've NEVER cooked with before, that's for sure. Plus I cooked tonights dinner for the husband-he SO LOVED IT. And he's a hard person to please with food. So all in all-POSITIVITY ALL AROUND! And now I present you with...
GLITTER AND RAINBOWS OF HAPPINESS.
Sparkle on,

Day 7-Ultimate Reset
Today has been a GREAT day..so far. Ha. It was busy-so I think that helped alot. I had to have my 3 year old INTERVIEWED for preschool (??!) and it stressed me out. They took her away and we weren't allowed in the room. Cue mommy anxiety. But she did good! HOORAY she was accepted. This is like collage these days I swear. She'll be taking like full on subjects like art, math, science and social studies. WOW. And she's not even 4 yet. I think she's ready to be challenged though. She is much different than Alana (Alana is a social butterfly and has a "SQUIRREL" type of mentality) while Isabel (my 3 year old) is very focused, introverted, and borderline OCD. She'll take over that classroom LIKE A BOSS.
But back to the Reset. Slept GREAT. Emotions have been stable today-I went shopping and everything without killing someone. Progress. I haven't been hungry at all-sure I look forward to my meals-but I'm not like, STARVING before them. Headaches completely gone, as well as body aches. I recommend that people who start this-take an epsom salt bath every night for 20 minutes to help with the detox and try dry brushing (its supposed to help with detoxing of your skin, which is your bodies largest organ).
SO YAY I'M GOOD TODAY! I honestly feel like at the end of this thing, I will still cook the same and everything. We are moving to a place soon that will have room for me to have a garden-so I'll be taking full advantage of that. The way I feel today-is definitely the best I've ever felt physically, and it's only day 7! :)
Till my next moodswing,

NOT HAPPY-Day 6 Ultimate Reset
So this morning I probaby could have pissed rainbows and glitter for you. I felt *THAT* good. Now I feel like piss ass. Not physically. Just like everyone around me could die. Ok not really but you know what I mean. I am just MAD. Angry. A bit depressed, and I honestly don't know why. I hear it's a "moment of emotional release" that tends to happen during this reset. Well shit-I hope it goes away soon or else I am going to run out for some vodka! (not really. sort of. j/k. sort of).
Sigh. So I'm going to keep on truckin'. I am going to put my faith in this system and give the program it's integrity, as it was designed by experts and I know the end results will be SO worth it. As you can see, emotions change quick on this. Yeah-it makes you a wee bit bi-polar. Whatever. I just told Jason I feel like punching him in the face. In week 3 people say this shit stabilizes. THANK GOD.
Onto another day..

ultimate reset day 6
Good morning Day 6!
I like Day 6, and Day 6 likes me. I SLEPT SO GOOD last night-WOW! This morning breakfast called for a spinach and garbanzo bean concoction with some avocado, but then I realized I ate the last of my avocado yesterday during lunch or something. So back to my fruit compilation for breakfast today. The GREAT thing about this Reset is that if you don't like something that is scheduled to eat on your meal plan, you can pick and choose from meals in the week you are in. Heck, you could eat the same thing every day if you wanted to (again, in the same week though). Sometimes I ran out of certain ingredients and had to do some fishing in the cooking guide to find something that I could cook for certain meals-and that's totally ok-love it. I'm getting some adversity to my decision to make my 21 day reset only 14 days-but honestly I ate cleaner than what is on week 1 (no meat or dairy and lots of greens and fruits), and I drank as much water too. I will be continuing with the maintenance phase and you still have to eat the same for at least 3 weeks, while taking the supplements, so I know I will reap the same benefits. Carnivores and Herbivores sometimes butt heads, but I'm used to it. :) Disclaimer: NOT knocking carnivores-to each their own! I had to make the switch to vegetarian first and foremost because of my health. High Cholesterol is genetic in my family, as well as my husband's. Cholesterol is found in meat. No brainer to cut that out so we don't have to go on meds. And it worked! (with the help of Shakeology-it was a SLAM DUNK!) Eventually I just progressed to Vegan for personal reasons, and I'm happy with that. My husband is still a vegetarian, and he's happy in that spot-so goes to show you how everyone can make their own choices-even living under the same roof. ;)
So make good decisions for YOU. Be mindful and present today. Write everything down you are eating if you are going for weightloss. Add up those calories (My Fitness Pal is a great app on smart phones to track calories). Move your body. Truly appreciate the food you are eating and how it was prepared. The food you eat is a GIFT-treat it as such when you are eating.
Till next time,
-DB
