I FINALLY did it...

I ordered this INSANE workout regimen that I've heard nothing but great things about. I am SO READY. I cancelled my gym memebership. It was just too hard for me to get the baby together and myself together-in between naps-and go to the gym. This way, while the baby is sleeping, and Alana's at school, I can work out. That might sound like a lame-o excuse but it is what it is. I used to look hot. I used to look really hot naked. TMI, I know. And I know you're all saying, "but you look fine!" I am at my pre preggo weight, but things are a little jigglier than I'm used to, and I just want to get my butt back in shape. I used to be able to bounce a quarter off my ass. If I try that now, it would probably get lost in there.

So yes, I am starting P90X and all it's goodness, pull-up bar (yikes!) included and some bands. We'll see about the bands. I've used them before and they work good, but I'm a dumbbell freako so I might get some eventually. Wish me luck!

OH-And I wanted to let you know that Thanksgiving went great! We put Isabel in a red santa hat for the heck of it, she looked so cute! Alana was such a well behaved little lady and had her "fancy" dress on for the night-what a doll! And I gotta say-The food made by me and moms was AMAZING. I got my sweet potato casserole recipe down pat! We had a full house with my brother and his whole family and we had friends stop in too. It was such a great night. Of course we all got a litte crazy, but hey, you just gotta every once in awhile!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

As some of you may know, WE RENTED ARE HOUSE OUT ON SPRING STREET (see above right!!) as of Jan 1st. So we are celebrating everything that we can, in this glorious old, traditional Charleston home.

And of course, where we'll be eating our last Thanksgiving dinner (at this house! see above left!)

I gotta say, it's bittersweet. But I know God has marvelous plans for us that include:

-moving into my parents house for 6 months

-and searching for that perfect piece of land and building our dream home!

-SAVING TONS OF MONEY! yeah! Lord knows we'll need it!

I am SO completely THANKFUL for the Lord allowing us to live in this wonderful house. I feel like we really got the "feel" of Charleston, of the history, and of all the crazy stories that go with this 150 year old house.

Being in our parents house is not just about saving money of course-it will be wonderful just being there again, and they can see the kids everyday all day, and we'll be that crazy puertorican family again, all cramped together! LOVE IT! So I am, of course, so completely thankful for my family. I say it all the time. Because I am!!

I cannot believe it's Thanksgiving Eve

I am so thankful..words just cannot express.

I am so thankful for forgiveness and that Jesus has promised. And for Jesus!

I am absolutely thrilled about the friends that I have-they are seriously the best in the world!

I am BLOWN AWAY by my family...no matter what we go through, love always prevails.

YAY-I am blessed.

Thank you so much.

Wasn't it just 105 degrees in Charleston just 2 minutes ago??? Gooooosh, it's already fall..and soon it will be Christmas..love it! AND it shows how fast time goes by!

I guess we're doing OK as parents

Today was the last day of school before Alana's Thanksgiving break. Her teacher told her to write down what she was thankful for, and it could be absolutely anything. This is what she wrote (in her spelling, just in case you can't see in photo):

"Thankfulness
I am thankful for Jesus becas he tacs kaer of us and I love Him.
He loves me.
He tacs kaer of the wherld.
I whunt to meet God."

So simple. So pure. She is my little angel!

And of course, a turkey is included!
