What to do....

So today I'm going to do Core Ball Sandwich from Tony Horton's One on One programs. This is the one workout that makes my core and abs sore for at least a week after doing it. It's really THAT TOUGH. And maybe I'll do the Max Recovery from Insanity afterwards to work on the muscularity in the leg and butt dep't. I remember talking to Tony during our QVC trip about the Core Ball Sandwich workout, and he told me he had been skiing for 8 hours straight before that workout because they had such good snow, and then he wrote it down on the hotel's notepad (the workout) 5 minutes prior to shooting with the director, Mason B. And, as it turns out, it's one of his favorite workouts!

If you haven't dug into the One on One's, I highly recommend them! This year it's all about Tony reaching his personal best, while we try to keep up, LOL. Makes for great goal setting though and intense workouts that are always fun! Of course-these are available only through a coach (as myself, or my husband-links on right!) or any other coach you may desire. :)

I hope you have a blessed day full of JOY! Start every day off with a good breakfast, good workout, and I DARE you to have a bad day! Endorphins are just THAT powerful! <3 LOVE and HUGS!!

Mish-Mashing

This pic of me and Tony SERIOUSLY cracks me up with that hat..good times!

Anywho..."mishmashing" is a term I've been using a LOT lately. I'd say I have a pretty good fitness library. I have P90X, P90X+, Volume 1 of Tony Horton's One on Ones, Insanity, and I am currently recieving Volume 2 of the One on One's with Tony Horton. So, I realized that since doing Insanity, that some of my upper body strength has diminished. As a coach, I fully recommend this program for anyone who wants to lean out and improve their cardiovascular endurance. If you want to keep your "guns," I'd recommend throwing in Upper + (from P90X+) or any of the weighted P90X workouts on Insanity's Recovery or Rest days. Make sure you are eating enough though! Insanity wipes you out, so if you are throwing in more workouts to the bunch, more calories are needed! So, that's where the mish-mashing comes in. This is my official "recovery week" from Insanity, but I've turned it into P90X week. Yeah, I know, not really recovery, right? Well, I've realized for one, my upper body strength has decreased a bit, which I don't like, but I look really lean, which I do like. So I figure, if I just mix it all up together, a hybrid for all intensive purposes, I will get what I want. I measure myself alot (with tape) I don't really weigh myself, and I keep tabs on body fat. For me personally, I know what works for my body. Listen to your body and see what works for you! All the programs by Beachbody are simply the BEST no doubt-it's not all about looking good in a bikini, it's about saving lives, really. To help people live happy, moving, healthy lives. It all starts with having that mental choice, that you ARE going to committ to something, that you ARE not going to give up, that you WON'T measure yourself up against others, and that you WILL treat your body as the only one you have (because it is!) and not like a garbage can.

Tony Horton's One on One-Core Ball Sandwich, Volume 2

I just got it in yesterday-and it was SO MUCH FUN! It's a monster core and some upper body workout, but WOW-some of the moves are massive strength moves-and totally new-and it.was.HALARIOUS. I couldn't stop laughing!

If you like seeing Tony in his normal state of mind during a workout, along with Mason-you have to sign up for Volume 2 of TH's OOO's...it's always fresh, always funny, and really feels like you are training right along side of him, and who wouldn't like to do that? :) I got a great sweat on, and my muscles are definitely "pumped" and I feel great after my recovery drink! GO GET IT!

YES-I did a double INSANITY day-:) PURE CARDIOOOOOOO!

So I have a pretty full day tomorrow-and I felt pretty good after doing Cardio Recovery and Upper body...so I did Pure Cardio from the INSANITY program this afternoon. Yeah, I'm crazy. :)

Pure Cardio is AMAZING! I loved it, even though it was the HARDEST cardio ever crammed into 20 minutes..EVER..it was great when it was over and I felt AWESOME! Some parts were fun, I love the football drills, and the sweat I had POURING!

I had a meeting with a photographer downtown, and I was showing him my INSANITY package-and I left it at his office! Aaaah! So just in the nick of time I had Tony Horton's Cardio Core Ball Sandwich in the mail waiting for me, and I'm so excited to do it tomorrow! It looks like a hard, fun great Tony time which I've been missing terribly! <3

P90X+ finishing pic...

I just finished my 3 months of P90X+, the follow up to P90X (alot harder!). It has definitely leaned me out, and I am currently in my recovery week, so I expect some muscle growth to occur while at "rest." :)

What will I do next, you ask? Well, I am going to do Tony Horton's One on One series mixed in with the ol' P90X and P90X+, so I'm just going to mix it all up once this recovery week is over..(which is starting tomorrow btw). Hey, variety is the spice of life!

One on One with Tony Horton Medicine Ball Cardio

That was a GREAT workout..gotta admit, I had my doubts, with my puny 4 lb medicine ball (Tony's was only 6 lbs..) that I would get a good, sweaty cardio workout in 20 or so minutes. But I was pleasantly, WRONG!

It was quick, to the point, and it was completely unedited and RAW. You could see the camera guy, Tony came into the studio complaining that he was sore, and then he starts talking to the camera guy about why he was so sore and he was probably going to "dog" it for this workout. He didn't! Even the camera guy had something in his lens, he stopped, cleaned his lens (right before workout, during warmup!) and then proceeded to record. It was funny, to say the least, and, very different! But once it got started, YOWZERS! That 4 lb medicine ball didn't feel too light toward the end, let me tell you! I'm definitely hooked, I'm going to replace CardioX with this kind of workout on days I feel like adding more cardio to my program. And when you order the "One on One with Tony Horton", you get a new CD every month, to "spice" up things when needed! Very nice, can't wait for the next one!

INSANITY!

Alot of coaches now know that Shaun T's "Insanity" program is coming out soon, and it is very much anticipated! No weights, just your bodies being pushed to the limit!! As soon as I have a video sneak peak, you'll bet your fannies that it will be on here.

As per Brad Eickman's blog**The release date is still not known yet for this, but during May's shipment of Tony Horton's One on One series, it will include 1 Shaun T Insanity as a free gift and sneak peak before everyone else gets it! The one on one series with Tony Horton is my next investment as a coach, so I hope I get mine in there so I can tell ya'll about it!! Make sure you get your One on One with Tony during May too, so you can share the experience with me!
