And what are you eating? Do you look at food as fuel, or something that just tastes good at the moment? If you are eating nutritious food, you have to make sure you are eating enough, ESPECIALLY if you are doing an extreme program from Beachbody like P90X. The nutritional plan is there for a reason, and sometimes people just can't understand why they say to eat so much, and then they don't eat enough. Then, they wonder why they don't get the results they want. If your body is working HARD, you need calories to keep up-so you can POUR everything you got into your workouts for one, and so your body does not go into "famine" mode, where it holds on to every calorie you consume. If you are getting a steady flow of nutritious calories, drinking enough water, not drinking alot of alcohol..your body will naturally just release those unwanted LB's and pack on that glorious muscle. If you are the type of person that just wants to be skinny and no muscle-than don't eat. If you actually want to have some sort of healthy body, than follow your nutrition guide and workout! It's simple really. Eat good, exercise regularly, drink your water, and sleep good=FORMULA FOR SUCCESS. Take your rest day and enjoy it-1 cheat meal won't throw you off track. But listen here, it's A cheat MEAL, not cheat day! Use your brain. Yeah, it's tough love, but it's the tough love that will change your life for the better. If all you do is whine about your weight and don't do anything about it...well P90X and Beachbody programs are not for you. Inherited diseases will be in your future and you will feel like sh*t. Is that what you want? I sure as heck hope not. You don't want to do it alone-you want to have that "someone" who encourages you and gives you a swift kick in the a$$ when necessary. Easily offended people need not apply. "Nobody said this was easy!" is almost an understatement. Get real with yourself. You may not be 19 anymore, but you can feel better than you did when you were 19, I promise you that. Beachbody has an amazing system of "coaches" that are there to help you along your journey, and answer all your questions, motivate you, and do whatever it takes to make sure you are successful. As I always say to all my clients: "Your success is my success, so we WILL make this work." My own MOTHER is doing Slim in 6 at 63 years old..already lost 8 lbs and actually has a cute little tummy now! I don't see any reason for lame excuses when I see my own mother at 63 work so hard and have amazing results.
So, what are you going to do about it? Have a pity party? Or DO something that will give you what you want. NO, it's not easy. You have to make sacrifices. But in the end, YOU will be a happier, healthier person for it. That is a priceless thing my friends. Myself and my husband are coaches and we can help you. But only if you are ready to help yourself. Use your brain, and make the right choice today.
