I've gotta say that I'm starting to get used to the lower carbohydrate diet thing, but I am thanking God that this portion of the nutrition plan is almost over! 1 more week and more carbs are introduced, woohoo!
That said, I do cheat from time to time (he he). The main thing that I cheat with is with wine (..not all the time though!), but I make sure to do something for myself the next day--a.k.a. beat myself over it, and do doubles of my workouts, ha. Yesterday I had some wine, so this morning, I did my Kenpo on empty stomach, then later I will be doing my back, legs, and abs. Alot, yeah. But if you want results, then you just gotta work hard at it!
The one thing I really do have to pat myself on the back for, is not eating bread at all for a while now (which I always used to do, I was a bread dipping olive oil queen!), and I've had absolutely no desserts in 2 weeks. I have had the occasional bowl of protein cereal that does have some carbs in it, but I'm learning to stick to the diet better, which is always half the battle. I know there is a method to the madness, and the end result will be what I want in myself.
