Day 2 of the "Demi" sleep training method...

She did SO much better!! (Isabel)

She went down after her bath evening routine, and after her nighttime bottle, she passed out in my arms. I layed her in the crib, and she was fine, didn't wake up 5 minutes later or anything.

Then came 2 am. She woke up, and starting crying. It wasn't her usual "screaming, I'm freaking out" crying, but more of the "half crying, wining, I just woke up and I want to let you know" kind of thing. Jason immediately was like, "I'll go get her tonight." I told him to just wait a minute. After 30 SECONDS, she went back to sleep, ON HER OWN. Praise the LORD!

Then came 3 am. See above for what she did. Exactly the same thing.

Then she woke up AT 630 AM! That's amazing for her, and for everyone in this household. Her usual wakeup time is 430 am, so it was really nice. I was more tired this morning though, I think I was just still so tired from the night before, I NEEDED an extra hour of sleep or else I was going to lose my ever loving mind. So Jason offered to take Isabel to my parent's house (they live 1/2 mile away) so I could sleep in a bit and do my workout stressfree this morning. I feel SO much better, and I'm looking forward to doing "Total Body Plus" without the stress of her waking up in the middle of her morning nap. Not complaining or anything, LOVE being her mommy, and everything that goes along with it, but every now and then, a little quiet and stillness is nice. I plan to also have some awesome QT with my man Jesus in this solitude afterwards, then go get my precious bundle and enjoy the day.

It's amazing how every day is so different. You never know what is going to happen, or how things are going to change, so I'm learning to be more flexible, and more appreciative of the people in my life. "Go with the Flow" is the new motto for the Bean Household. :)

You deserve a little quiet time - if we don't take care of ourselves (physically, mentally, spiritually), we won't be able to take care of our loved ones! I'm glad the wee one sleeping habits/patterns is working out well. Have a great day!
