The blog pic/title; some more info on that...

Your body CAN do more than you think it can..that picture was taken from the Marine Corps Marathon. It had always been my dream to run that marathon because I am a former Marine, and it meant alot to me. It meant even more to me that Jason was willing to run it along side me. He kept me going when I really thought I was going to die! Ok maybe not that dramatic but it did get really painful at times.

Next time you're working out, remember that your body has been designed by our Creator to do amazing things..you think we had cars, bikes, elevators, and all that mess back in the day? No way! We walked everywhere and we slept on the ground. Physiologically, our bodies are completely designed to cover long distances whether running or walking. When you feel tired during a workout, that is a normal response. I guarantee that when you keep going past that point of being tired, or even feeling a little pain and discomfort, you will break through that wall and you are going to experience the best drug in the world-endorphins.

Ahhh...I SO need to remember that..to keep going past the point of tired and pain. Lately...my body has gone through a ton of changes...and with that has come weight gain. Daniel and I walk 30 minutes every morning...and do 90 situps when we get it...but I see NO changes...SO frustrating to keep it moving!! I don't know what to do to start shedding the extra 15 pounds and tone up... :)

..p.s....next time you are in Charlotte, let me know...I'd be happy to take some pix...of you...and you and the Bean family!!! :)
