So someone calls me on the phone late at night and tells me I won $10,000?! Hmm, WHAT?!

And I DID!!! That was Jason Diebold and Barbie Decker who called me late this evening while I was in between sleeping and hurling in the toilet (stomach flu). We almost had to go to the ER for dehydration, but I managed to keep down a glass of water so I felt better. As I tried to go back to sleep, I was like, "HOLY CRAP, did I really just win that money? Did I really win money for working out? Because that sounds like crazy talk. I really had to convince myself that I was worthy of winning this, and thus I can't sleep now because I'm just so AMPED! The day I signed up to be a Coach with Beachbody was the best day of my life. But I didn't really know what I was going to do with it. To be honest-I just signed up for the discount. I didn't really plan on trying to sell any product or recruit new coaches. I just wanted to be able to get cheap good supplements! So after a while of "piddling" with coaching, I had finished my first round of P90X. Lost 22 lbs, and countless inches. That's when I started to receive alot of compliments, and I was like, HOLD UP, I could be making money by helping people get in shape, right? So lo and behold, I dusted off my Compensation plan from Beachbody, and yes, I could! So I mentally made a note that I would give at least 1 hour a day to "my business." Then things started to happen, and I liked it. Alot. My reward was countless emails and phonecalls of people telling me how grateful they are for "me" for helping guide them in the right direction so they could get healthy and fit. It truly touched me then, and it still does! Then this crazy thing called "The Game Plan" came out. I tried it out. Then when I realized IT ACTUALLY WORKS....I tell my coaches that this is the backbone of successful coaching. It's simple, it works, and everyone wins and is happy. I think the most important point on there is "To be here a year from now." Last year, I wasn't really motivated, and I was thinking of saving my 14.99 a month and cancelling. But a little birdie in my ear told me to stick with it. And so I have, and BOY WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES. I am so excited to see what's in store next year with Beachbody and all the following years. I urge you to promise to be here a year from now. There are so many things that can happen in a year, it's crazy. When I started to get motivated, I set some goals. They were kind of nutso. I wanted to meet Tony Horton. He's incredible, why wouldn't you want to meet a man that created this crazy effective workout regimen. So we flew to California, stayed with great friends, and went to the infamous Sunday workout with him. He gave me a hug. He motivated me. He told me I could do all this crazy acrobatic stuff on bars and whatnot. With his help, I did. I was sore for a week, but I did it. I took the words "I can't" out of my vocabulary forever after that.
Then came QVC! I was honored to apart of that team and meeting some incredible people. I mean, I was on TV, this small town South Carolina girl goes on QVC not even a year into coaching with Beachbody. It was an amazing experience! Then comes the P90X infomercial. I'm still completely blown away by that. A complete honor! I started to hear that you could win money by working out, and submitting your success story. Say it ain't so! So I did, every month for about 4 months. I was finally picked in October, and I won a $1,000! I know that isn't alot, but it's alot for me! :) I had no idea at the time that I was eligible to win $10K after that, and I wasn't really confident that I would win..I mean there are all these amazing stories out there, and it kind of intimidated me. But lo and behold "people like me, they really do!" <--from a movie. Ha! I had tons of Facebook friends tell me they were voting for me left and right, and I felt so honored to have their vote, crying was a daily occurrence for me during the voting period. And now today....I am still in shock. I get to pay off some bills, maybe get a nice dress, put a nice chunk of money in savings, and put more $ into my business! As a stay at home mom, to have a part in paying bills makes me feel good..independent. And my husband couldn't be prouder. He's my chearleader in life, and I am so thankful I am married to him. Without him and his support, none of this would have happened. Thank you John Kopecky for introducing me to coaching, it was an unanswered prayer. Before Beachbody, I had never really found my purpose..I thought about being a trainer, opening up a gym, but they were just all ideas. All I really knew how to do was be a Marine. I knew what it felt like to work hard and be healthy, and that's all I really wanted. I also knew that I wanted to work with people. So when John introduces me and tells me all about Beachbody, and I initially get over the whole 25% off thing, and really take it seriously-that's when my life changed for the better. I could go on and on about all the benefits coaching has done for me, but it would probably take up an hour of your reading time! For now all I want to say is THANK YOU. To everyone that voted, to everyone at Beachbody-every single one of you completely rock and I thank you. :)
