Pray for Isa

We have been in the hospital since last night because Isa had a fever of 102. It has since gone down a bit to 100.4 but the doctors say that it is still too high for a baby that is only 11 days old. Her white blood count is also elevated. She will be here for 2 days while they give her antibiotics and monitor her until her blood cultures come back. The spinal tap and urine tests all came back negative for anything major.

This has definately been the exhausting week of my whole life. From giving birth, to breastfeeding a newborn around the clock, to now watching my sweet little girl cry non-stop because she is so miserable...sleep has been far away from us that's for sure.

Prayers needed:

1) That all of Isabel's test come back normal, and that she would start to feel better. That her body would be completely healed of any abnormalities, and that her white blood count would get to normal levels.

2) That somehow me and Jason can get some rest. I don't know how it is going to happen, but I hope the opportunity presents itself soon! I have had about 2 hours of sleep in the past 2 days. Pray that any sleep that we do get, God multiplies it.
